If the men’s section has enjoyed a bright start to the season, then the ladies must be absolutely delight with the way their season has started. To date they’ve played, and won, two games in the Double Rinks competition, defeating both Llantrisant and Pontyclun, 7-3 and 10-0 respectively, and with a total points aggregate score of 76 shots to 59 in that competition. The Evening League side has got off to an even more impressive start, with a 100% record, defeating both Penarth Windsor and Millwood 10-0 and accumulating an aggregate score of 93 shots to 55 in the process. So far, there’s only been one game in the Afternoon League, when they visited Penarth Windsor and won 8-2, with a score of 53 shots to 48. All in all, a very impressive start to the 2026 season for all three ladies’ sides. Congratulations to the Ladies’ Captain Pat Stacey and Evening League captain Angela Gray, and all the other ladies involved so far this season.
